Can we program Nxt2 in C++ under Visual studio 2010? There is no practical difference between the bricks in the NXT 1.0 and NXT 2.0 sets. |

Are Samsonite gears compatible with modern Technic gears? @ConcernedOfTunbridgeWells They are not that big, the red, blue and yellow LEGO ones have an outer radius of 2, 3 and 4 studs, respectively. This translates to diameters of 32, 48 and 64mm (actually 2.7mm less so they can move freely). |

Are Samsonite gears compatible with modern Technic gears? This confuses old LEGO gears (positions 1, 3 and 5 with red in the center) with Samsonite gears (the uniformly colored ones in positions 2, 4, 6 and 7). I don't think they even mesh, but as I don't have Samsonite gears I can't check. |

As of November 2011, should I buy the NXT 2.0 now, or wait and buy the NXT 3.0 later? The difference between NXT 1.0 and NXT 2.0 is minor, so I wouldn't hold my breath for a NXT 3.0. |

Why do some sets have two different numbers? My first Technic set (and last LEGO set before the dark ages) was the 852 helicopter, which had number 954 in the US. lego.wikia.com/wiki/852_Helicopter |
