comment Where can I download the software for old RCX-era Mindstorms sets?
Quite right. I was thinking about that when I first wrote the question. I guess just it's preferable that the submitted download links are for English versions.

It is true that that is software packaged with some RCX sets, but I didn't list it here since it was educational software rather than retail software. And like you said, it was an add-on to expensive 3rd party software. Nonetheless, if someone includes a link to download that in their answer, I won't count any points off.

revised Is there an XML format for Lego?
should have done this earlier, but it's LXFML, not LFXML.. Very minor correction, but very important.

Thanks for the clarification, I've edited my answer and removed the false statement that it doesn't.

revised Is there an XML format for Lego?
Removed the uncertain false statement about .LXFML files not having instructions, and added a bit more comparison of the two formats at the end

Ah, very good! I didn't realize there was documentation on LDD files, and that it came closer than .ldr files to what randomblink was asking for. I'll go ahead and edit my answer to acknowledge this.

comment Where can I find LDraw examples?
Last time I checked, the LDraw All-In-One installer comes with a bunch of sample official models.
