http://www.brothers-brick.com/2012/01/05/dissecting-the-new-lego-friends-mini-dolls-guest-post/ says it's not very compatible. Also, ditch "relatable" - LEGO might think so, but no one else seems to agree.

comment Are the LEGO Friends Mini-dolls compatible with Minifigures?
Just curious, are they actually called 'minidolls' by LEGO? I do know that hairpieces are interchangeable and the neck of a Freinds figure can fit in the 'claws' of a traditional minifig.

comment What is the male:female ratio of gendered minifigures?
I did a quick check of the released sets in the Freinds theme. There are 23 female figures and one male figure (Peter).

comment Which sets currently contain pneumatic LEGO equipment?
@tombull89: This vending machine concept is powered by a home-made linear actuator. The Linear Actuator bricks sold by LEGO are smaller.

comment What is considered the most valuable LEGO set?
Expensive Star Wars sets in mint condition are generally a good investment. The only non-Star Wars set that comes close would probably be limited edition sets like the 10182 Cafe Corner, 10184 Town Plan and 10189 Taj Mahal.

comment How do you store your built models for long-term display?
@JoeWreschnig: Thanks, I'll have a look into that. I've found one example here.

I have the same model from IKEA for displaying models and the small gaps allow a lot of dust to get into the models. The advantages having this particular display cabinet is that it can clearly display models and it's relatively cheap.
