comment Do you use the plastic buckets for purposes other than organizing your bricks?
"What can I use these buckets for rather than storing LEGO bricks?" Do you want to use these buckets for uses other than storing LEGO or storing stuff in general?

Have you tried running the motors on different surfaces such as carpet/wood to see if they react differently?

comment What Lego set does this belong to?
That looks very unusual for a LEGO piece. Are you able to locate the LEGO logo or a number?

comment How to put LEGO together upside down
You can build a similar design which I find is stronger (but slightly larger) using cheese slopes and a plate and brick of the same size. It can also be built with two plates and cheese slopes.

This perhaps is not suitable for 99% of pieces but the legendary LEGO Great Ball Contraption guy has made a brick-built machine that cleans his ball pieces.

I was going to say don't keep them in the same place as your keys but I realise how stupid that sounds. I'm just curious, do you know what Minifigure it is?

comment Strain Gauge on Lego Bridge
Why not use a pressure sensitive adhesive such as Blu-tack instead of glue? That way you can still re-use your bricks and strain gauge.

comment Brick-built alternative to “Door 2 x 5 x 5 Swivel, Bracket Base”
That's very strange. I can't think why that is when both your wall and mine are 1x6.

comment Brick-built alternative to “Door 2 x 5 x 5 Swivel, Bracket Base”
If you plan to build more of the wall on each side and maybe above you will add strength to the frame. It actually isn't as difficult as I expected to turn the wall but the turntable is certainly easier to turn.

comment What plastic do Quatro blocks use?
You are absolutely right. I mistook Quatro as a non-LEGO brand and I apologise. I have re-opened your question and if it is any consolation I have placed a bounty on your question in the hope that you will get an answer.

comment Is there a time mechanism that can be added to an NXT program?
Is there a numerical limit to the sensor block? It seems 86,400 seconds between each function is quite a long time.

comment How can i use my iPhone to scan a barcode and send it to my EV3 brick?
There are many Apps available on the App store that can scan barcodes and export the data via e-mail/dropbox etc. However your main problem will be latency. Unless you're prepared to program your own app (as David suggests) it may be worth considering other options.
