Set missing all the Minifigures and a few other parts +1: It seems very odd that all the figs are missing: assuming this was bought as a new set, this strongly suggests that the set has been tampered with. |

Why does LEGO state the number of parts on US boxes, but not in Europe? Being an EU-based company, TLG design may well design their boxes for local EU-based markets first - where there is no need for a piece count - and then adjust the designs for other markets later. This is pure speculation, of course. |

How to tell the different ages of pieces You may get a decent answer for some characteristics, but bare in mind is that old moulds are often in use at the same time as newer ones, and that the overlap can last many years. |
