What are the known software tools for the EV3? The mobile apps will only be able to control the robot, perhaps remotely execute programs, nothing much more then that I think |

What does EV3 stand for? @Ambo100 No, I don't think so. EV3 is not NXT, it's a completely different line. See this post on the Mindboards forums and all following posts for more info |

Will Mindstorms EV3 be backwards compatible? I do not think that TLG have actually announced it on their website, but all of the articles on tech blogs say so. (The tech blogs have received their info from LEGO's announcement at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.) This guy who was invited by LEGO to beta test the new product says so on his blog |
