How to straighten 32L axles? I brought a bowl of water to a boil in the microwave, waited for it to stop boiling, then poured into a tumbler, then soaked the bent half of the axle in the water for 2 minutes, then "quickly" put the 32 cross-hole bricks on it and set it up as Jourbarc described, and let it sit for a couple of nights. The axle, while still noticeably bent, appears to be less bent than it was. After I've applied this technique to the rest of the bent axles, I may attempt a second application. |

How to straighten 32L axles? I tried this, with 32 of those bricks, and left one of most egregiously bent axles in it for about 2 weeks. I couldn't tell that it made any difference. I'll try the hot water approach next. |

Can I use the WeDo USB hub with normal Linux distributions? I think this would be better posted as its own question, rather than as an answer here... |

How to straighten 32L axles? There's still value in getting them straight, even if it's just for the visual aspect. I might also try using them in a high-speed-low-torque application, or maybe put a bunch of worm gears on them to create a leadscrew or something. |

Is there any other way to program the Lego Mindstorms NXT other than the provided software? As an example of the programming logic running on another device, my nxt floppy-disk machine used Python on a laptop to control an NXT running the standard firmware. |

Technic axle corrosion? What happened here? Take a close look at your Technic bricks from this collection; is there any indication of that kind of "corrosion" on the inside of any of the holes? |

How can I blow a stream of air for up to two minutes at a time? I think you'll find that studs-up construction for the housing will give you enough air-tightness. My concern would be if you could get enough pressure from it... I'm not sure how much it would take. You might try experimenting with a hair dryer, shop-vac, and small fans and the like to see just how much air you'll need. Building a squirrel-cage fan is a fun little project all on its own, too! :) |

My Own Train vs. other 9v trains If only those had come out early in my "HO train"-phase instead of the middle of my DarkAge.... |

How much depth does the NXT battery pack add? My white 10VDC battery pack arrived today. It adds the same thickness as a studless beam, same as the 9VAC battery pack. |
