What are the characteristics of “Miniland” scale? @Java: lego.wikia.com/wiki/20201_Microbuild_Designer Official set. Still waiting for the cite. Don't just read numbers, actually look at the results please. |

What are the characteristics of “Miniland” scale? By comparison, your "mini" link contains only three relevant results. |

What are the characteristics of “Miniland” scale? @Java: Can you please find a citation for that? Micro-building is a very common Lego term; Lego themselves most recently used it in an MBA set, there is a micro-scale Flikr group at flickr.com/groups/microscale; there is a micro-scale category on MOC at mocpages.com/directory.php/51; etc. |

How are LEGO sets designed? I have a hard time believing any manufacturing process, even if kept primarily in European countries as LEGO has done, has not become cheaper and more flexible between 1940 and 2011. |

How are the LEGO instruction manuals made? Is this specifically about making the manuals (say, getting the breakdowns, printing, perhaps historically drafting), or about the whole conception-to-box product lifecycle? I read it as the former, which is not a duplicate. |

What are the characteristics of “Miniland” scale? Sorry, but your edit forces me to -1. As far as I know miniland scale is what is at the parks, and your first paragraph is about micro-scale. This answer is just getting wronger over time. |

Why did Technic bricks have holes in the studs? Sorry, this is a correct point, but -1 because it's not really an answer to anything - it would be better merged into someone else's answer as another example of the same design principle. |

What are the characteristics of “Miniland” scale? I too would like a citation for LEGO Architecture being "miniland" - I considered it micro-scale. |

Why are LEGO slope bricks textured? Not all slopes are textured - for example the 1x2x2/3 30° slope is not textured, nor are every non-linear slope I can remember. All the textured ones I can remember are 45° or greater though. |

What's the most cost effective and efficient way to buy bricks? Are you more interested in buying specific quantities of specialized bricks, or buying specific common bricks in bulk? |
