Why did Technic bricks have holes in the studs? Ah, but what goes in the tiny hole in the pin on the underside of the 1x plates? :) |

What different bricks exist with studs on the sides? I'm still not sure about this question. Even if I restrict myself to bricks, I feel like it'll be long list, and one no one will learn anything from. No one approaches a problem like "How can I build SNOT?" or "What bricks have studs on the side?"- rather things like "How can I get an angle four studs wide and eight studs tall with a flat-ish surface?" or "Has Lego made a brick that will provide stability between these two specific parts?" |

Where are LEGO parts made? bricks.stackexchange.com/questions/49/… says there is also a factory in China for particular things, so this answer is not the whole story, or that answer is wrong... |

What's the largest LEGO construction ever? I'm not even sure this is really "trivia" - for Lego fans it is a guide to potential vacation spots. |

What different bricks exist with studs on the sides? Well, that's up to you and everyone else. It's received two close votes, but also two upvotes, and the site is what all the users make of it. I think questions along the lines of "I want this effect, how do I build it?" are going to be much more useful than "What effects exist of type X?" The former represent real problems people may Google for. The latter is only of interest to people who generally already know everything about Lego, and can never be completely answered because people keep inventing new things to do. |

What is an Erling brick? Please provide more information than just a link, like a description. If I don't know what the brick is, this answer is totally unhelpful without following the link. |

What kind of plastic are LEGO bricks made of? "Polycarbonate parts on the other hand have too much friction when in contact with other polycarbonate parts, making them extremely hard to disassemble. LEGO designers are fobidden to have PC parts put together in models." Details like this are exactly the kind of information I'm looking for on this site. Thank you! |

Why did Technic bricks have holes in the studs? My question is about the holes in the studs, not the holes in the sides of the bricks and on beams. |
