Well shoot, if you want to display it, send it off to the Action Figure Authority and have them grade it and seal it in carbonite: ebay.com/itm/…

comment Parts in Lego Set
Peeron USED to be awesome. Then, one day, I came home with some new sets and Peeron HAD NO CLUE. That was about three years ago, and the only sets I've added since then are the architecture sets, since they were seriously easy to remember. So, currently I'm adrift in the inventory department. frump

Nice competition for Brickbuildr. Will have to attempt an update to see how well it works.

Looks like an anchor hole to me too. Now I really want a copy of 6493.

comment How should I connect two LEGO cylinders with pistons to measure the movement caused by sea waves?
Using Google Translate and wttching the video makes me (ever the pessimist) think it's really a poor fit for LEGO Technic. With that in mind, there are a ton of LEGO masters that do things that just boggle my brain...

comment Which resolution is necessary to print bricks with a 3D printer?
Goven that all teh dimensions in en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Lego_dimensions.svg are in 100 micrometer increments, in theory I'd say 'yes'. In practice, I'd want to try it out on a borrowed printer before sinking large sums of money into it.
