comment Strongest Lego beam
Thanks, Ӎσᶎ. I was referring to just the house. I agree that the house walls are strongest with studs up, but the walls and beams (I mean the horizontal elements holding up the second storey) can have different orientations. It's true that the beams will also need to support downward force from the floor and objects placed on it, but would the bending moment or tension at the bottom part of the beam be a bigger concern?

Even if they are safe, will they remain pristine, though, i.e. how do you keep them from turning mouldy?

TheBrickBlogger, can you re-dye bricks which have been previously dyed?

Or even turn bley to old grey :)

I admit it sounds perverse, but I got the idea from the observation that white bricks are much more plentiful and varied compared to bricks of earthy colours — and yellow is a terrible approximation of skin tones!

Thanks, it looks like all colours tend towards yellow. I wonder what about yellow itself... As summer's coming, I'll do some experiments :)

comment Easy way to get the weight of a Bricklink order
Not only that, it shows the weight of each part (brick type) — brilliant, thanks :-)
