comment How to store large amounts of bigger bricks?
I have quite different experience with technic size, but then again my collection is still pretty small. Technic takes about half of the pieces I have and less than third of the space used.

Awesome photo! So, basically, it boils down to two options: a lot of organiser boxes, and the remaining excess stashed assembled like in Evil Mad Scientist blog post (or not) in a remoter place?

comment Is this piece some kind of rare/modified 200?
I've updated the question but unfortunately I have been unable to get a hold of a camera which would make better photos.

@AlvinWong Not at the moment, but I think I might be able to borrow a digital camera.

@ACarter I've dismantled a lot of pens in my life and they've all looked a bit different, not to mention that any axle fits perfectly in the axle hole and the bushes fit perfectly on the axle, at least I think so. I'll check it again when I am home.

@Ӎσᶎ I didn't realize that people keep separate stashes for immediate building and for long-term storage. It's a good thing to know.

comment Is (C) engraved on a piece an indication that it is Cobi brick?
Thank you! When I look at the sets where 111b is used I recognize some which I had, so I guess it makes them original ones after all. They are strangely soft and easy to bend, not to mention there is this horizontal 'joining line' going around the whole piece, subpar quality to other Lego pieces. This made me think the ones I have might not be real Lego.

I've spent about half an hour yesterday looking for this on Bricklink and failed miserably. Thanks!

@jncraton A straight duplicate I'd say. I wonder how I've missed that question.
