comment What is the name of this almost triangular shaped Technic beam?
I think the spelling on Brickset is wrong. Bricklink calls it a Triangle lift arm.

comment Looking for set to go with a specific brick
Check out some of the other questions on this site tagged as identification. You'll see what kind of info we need to be able to help you. In general, it's easiest to find the most unusual pieces or colours, try to look on bricklink.com, brickset.com, rebrickable.com, or peeron.com for what sets those appeared in, and narrow it down from there. The minifigures are often good clues as well.

You shouldn't cross-post the same question here and on stackoverflow, it's spammy.

comment Instructions for LEGO bag dated 2007 bought at a Thrift store
@Laura Just FYI: the bags sometimes have information printed on them that applies to the bag itself, as a part used in the packaging. Some proof that the 2007 date applies to the bag: the bracket piece in that photo wasn't available until 2012.

@Laura If you look at this pdf on page 24 you can see the pink circles and the various tiles from your bag. Page 6 shows the black doors being used for the car.
