Ben Duguid works in London, UK as Head of Back-end Development for Hugo & Cat, mostly delivering web sites on various Microsoft based platforms.

He has run internal training sessions helping other developers get up to speed in the technologies he knows about, and tries hard to get others to do the same.

For what it's worth he is an MCPD in ASP.NET 3.5, and is currently a Pro-Tem Mod on LEGO Answers

A picture might save a thousand words, but it's not very searchable or good for visually impaired users ;)

comment How can a Mindstorms robot lift something very heavy?
The key factors are torque (using the techniques in VolleyJosh's answer) and counter-balancing - to ensure that your robot doesn't tip over if you're trying to "pick it up" with a crane or arm based robot.

We already have some pointers for contacting a designer and it's been pointed out that LEGO don't really take suggestions for new products other than through Ideas.

comment Is it possible to run more than two remote control trains on one track?
Are you able to add any more detail on how you've set up the trains and remote to work with three or more trains?

@LarsTech - any chance you could post that as an answer, possibly with a short summary?

Hmm, curious I'll have another go - I'm sure I've done something similar in the past...
