Ben Duguid works in London, UK as a Technical Lead for The BIO Agency, mostly delivering web sites on various Microsoft based platforms.

He has run internal training sessions helping other developers get up to speed in the technologies he knows about, and tries hard to get others to do the same.

For what it's worth he is an MCPD in ASP.NET 3.5, and is currently a Pro-Tem Mod on LEGO Answers

comment Is there a reliable way to determine what minifigure is in a LEGO Minifigures series package?
I've no idea, but was told he was a Christian. It's certainly nothing I've ever heard mentioned in a sermon, but others beliefs may vary ;) All I know is they had a sign on the boxes stating that they didn't contain any witches or vampires, and when I asked how and why was informed about the barcodes and religion respectively.

Ironically, the witch could be found by bar code, as Series 2 did differentiate by them - one UK retailer has a very religious MD, and they'd ordered their boxes without the Witch or Vampire figures :( But I've had very good success with the feel method, especially for the dwarf and gladiator figures in series 5

comment What is the smallest LEGO component?
It comes with the Starwars Clone Troopers, along with a "rangefinder" type piece as well. It's a "headlamp" that attaches to a clones helmet. Rangefinder can be seen here: peeron.com/inv/parts/x1910 has a wider end than the screwdriver

comment How to make a 1 ldu offset?
I can only guess someone felt that there wasn't much practical use for the 1LDU gap? While I can't see the use, I can appreciate the technical challenge of achieving it.
