comment Can an axle be removed from this 'brick paradox'?
This is kind of a hacky answer, so I am posting it as a comment instead. Get some glue, such as hot glue or craft glue. Apply a tiny amount to the end of a match, and then press that against the red axle. Repeat with the other side and leave to dry overnight. The next morning, use the matches (which have been glued onto the axles) to pull the axles out. Remove the glue by snapping it off of the axles. This only works if you use a glue that is not designed to work with plastic; that ensures that it will stick but come off relatively easily.

comment Where can I find the LEGO fire dept. logo in high resolution or in vector format
This is a good image. The OP wants a vector graphic, so I would recommend editing the image with the GIMP to get just the logo, than importing that as a bitmap into Inkscape and path tracing it into a vector image.

comment Is it possible to build Lego bricks with a makerbot replicator 3D print?
Yes, but the quality would not be that good. See this (my) answer on a related question.

comment How does the cost of a LEGO railroad compare to a traditional scale railroad layout?
This is kind of irrelevant, but remember that the parts for Lego train sets (as with all Legos) can be used for many more things than what you bought them for. You can swap pieces around with other sets or build something completely new. So even if a Lego train set does cost more than a model train set, you can use it for a lot more things than the other.

comment Can you program Lego Mindstorms with the Scratch programming language?
If you are talking about the NXT, you can actually use assembly, C, or C++ to program it (see this question). I don't know about Scratch, though.

It is also found in the Lego Batcave (set number 7783).

comment How can a sticker be removed?
I am posting this as a comment and not an answer because it is a brand name thing, but I personally use Goo Gone (tm). The best technique tha I know of is to get the sticker(s) off with your fingernails or another hard object, and then use Goo Gone to get the residue off.

comment How do I change the color of a brick?
Note that, with spray paint, the paint might pool in the corners and crevices of the brick, so I would not use that if I were you.

comment How can I make a LEGO heroica scale fountain of youth using bricks from Fortaan or Waldurk?
@Miles, Zhaph - Ben Duguid is right. You need to supply more information if you want an answer. Are those Heroica sets all the Legos that you have? Do you have more, but not want to use them? Please clarify.

How do I tell which parts are under which licenses?

comment Bluetooth will not connect Error code: -142016
You say that you are using a Bluetooth dongle. The problem might be with the dongle itself; I would recommend that you borrow a friend's and see if that works.
