comment Steering mechanism for City-scale vehicle
I tried out rack and pinion steering but it didn't work to well for such small scale. It would be around 12 studs including the motor, and another 8 for the back end motor. Wouldn't work unless you had a bus.

comment What kind of activities can I expect to find at a LEGO Kids Fest?
"Worth it" is pretty subjective. "What activities are there" would be a better question.

@pcantin I've always wondered, why can't NXT use other languages?

From what I remember, NXT is more event based and allows you to connect blocks non-linearly. It's hard to explain, but contains more features.

comment What are some storage options?
I hate these things with a vengeance. You're constantly opening and closing drawers since the thing becomes unstable with more than one open at a time. Good for screws, not for Lego bricks.

comment How can I make custom LEGO packaging?
Printing companies would be your best bet, although not many will print singles.

comment How would you make a good pivot-arm suspension?
@pcantin I don't know how to explain it other than the axles on one side spin the opposite direction of the other.
