I am a C++ software developer turned product manager. My job at Autodesk is to ensure you want to buy our next version of 3ds Max. I like cooking and throw clay as a hobby (yes pottery).

Lego bricks were my favorite toys as a kid. I provided my children with my old collection and I am enjoying rediscovering the vintage models and walking on loose bricks during the night.

comment What can I do to repair my minifigures loose neck/head joint?
This is most likely a better solution than liquid paper (too thick I'd guess)

comment How are the LEGO instruction manuals made?
I'm about to self answer myself. It may deserve it`s own question... you tell me. but the sets are built using Autodesk Maya. The instructions are rendered. I should have some material to show... Let me check.

comment What is oodammo?
I read on the meta.bricks site we will want to only support brick sets. K'nex will most likely not be supported by this stack.

comment What is oodammo?
Is K'nex really off topic? I thought the site was about any brick set and not specifically about the LEGO brand. a StackExchange principle is accommodate sub topics together, I'd consider any brick-like sets such as K'nex, Fisher technics and maybe even tinker toys or capsella. I wouldn`t think a capsella stack would fly on its own... So I'd qualify this question as k'nex and trivia. oodammo could be a keyword if it`s used colloquially for brick guns or their ammo.

comment Why are old LEGO bricks more brittle than new ones?
Thanks for your answer! My lego blocks were thoroughly used. It feels like they lost any elasticity they had. ie I'm breaking my nails on them. Newer lego sets are soft and gentle and are undone pleasantly...

comment What's the largest LEGO construction ever?
This house was owned and built by James May. Legoland refused to move it and the building was dismantled weeks after construction was over. The 3.3 million bricks were apparently give to charity. techcrunch.com/2009/09/22/…
