What is the largest Lego kit commercially available? @LarsTech it's not that bad, actually, as the three sections are separable.There are only 4 connecting studs between each section, the rest are tiles. |

How can I make a working pin tumbler lock? @JoeWreschnig yes, that's certainly going to be an important factor, and as a matter of fact the key and the tumbler should be designed together — even if one has ideas for keys, it's only when building the tumbler that it's possible to see if the idea will be practical or not. I'm curious enough to try it too, honestly, but I don't know when I'll find the time. |

Are LEGO minifigs' arms supposed to come off? I can't add much more in the answer without really going off the topic of the question; I guess this topic should be a question fo its own. That said, LEGO has its own quality standards to maintain and they will sure want them enforced by all their partners. I think the main issue with these minifigs was that some were slightly translucent, but LEGO has had the exact same problem with regular bricks (when they started mixing the ABS and color themselves instead of buying colored ABS), so maybe the Chinese aren't to blame if they followed the LEGO recipe to the letter. |
