Former LEGO ambassador and LEGO zealot as a whole. If I could give negative rep for people writing "Legos", I would. It's going to be very hard not to suspend any offender though.

comment Is there a reliable way to determine what minifigure is in a LEGO Minifigures series package?
As far as I know, the contents of a box is fixed, at least for series 5 it is.

Don't thank me, it's all automatic. You got half of the bounty award because your answer was the most upvoted since the bounty started. Well, you were halfway there, so it makes sense :-)

I had no idea that even existed.

You may want to use a cloth bag, to be sure.

It's even harder to judge the difficulty of a question when you already know the answer.

Full credits and my thanks go to Didier Enjary. I tried to have him come and answer himself, but he declined. Note that he also thinks the practical usefulness of the this is very limited.

Practical usefulness is debatable indeed. Very slow-sloped stairs, maybe? Even in the rare cases where it would be useful, continuous techniques are probably easier. So yeah, it's more for the challenge.

You're right, the warning about that is in order, I rewrote it a little accordingly. The image would be much clearer on a black background, however, no idea if that's feasible here.

Your last statement is right on the spot, and there is one such element. (Also, note that for a 2 ldu gap, the erling brick alone isn't enough as it only has dimensions that are multiples of four. That's why you need a half-brick (10 ldu) offset too, which is what the jumpers are for in my picture)

Philo's pump is great but blocks now and then, but that's part of the GBC joy, and considering it's one of the oldest GBC modules in existence (that hasn't had parts replaced), it's actually quite resilient. By the way, if you want to see Philo or a great GBC display, I heartily recommend Fana'Briques, end of June in Rosheim (France).
