Former LEGO ambassador and LEGO zealot as a whole. If I could give negative rep for people writing "Legos", I would. It's going to be very hard not to suspend any offender though.

comment How should I create a Heroica scale graveyard or crypt room?
I only just realized that the first version isn't impossible to build any more, since there is a new version of the jumper plate which allows for a regular stud to be connected in the middle of the underside. Yay!

Receiving no response from the customer service seems unusal as these guys usually have an excellent track record of helping customers. You may want to try calling them directly using the free number for your country. Let them know that you never received a response to your two queries, this may give them the chance to fix what went wrong there.

You may also want to read designer Mark Stafford's interview which provides a lot of insight on this as well - including the reason why the Technic axle 4 is more expensive.

comment Does cleaning LEGO parts affect their value?
As you can expect, the answer to this will most certainly be "yes" in most cases as there's always a chance of scratching the parts. However, you could argue that getting bricks dirty is what diminishes their value to start with (some would go as far as saying opening the box is already a bad idea :-))
