Jul 9, 2013 at 12:55 comment added Joubarc I very much doubt that - the extra parts are always very consistent across all instances of a set; if the part was too small for the scale resolution, there would be some variation. And I'm fairly confident LEGO can afford very precise scales anyway. I know this question contradicts me, but I can't agree with its accepted answer.
